On a secluded site on the edge of Hitchin the client wanted to create a private oasis in which to enjoy nature. The design extends the house to create an L-shaped configuration around the large garden, emphasising views and living within nature through maximum views and openable sections to allow for true indoor and outdoor living in the warmer months.
The house will be upgraded in all aspects of performance with internal insulation in most areas. The outdoor living includes raised decks, outdoor bathing and planting close to the house. The building will be aesthetically upgraded and the main entrance areas re-positioned
