A replacement house in the greenbelt incorporating wide glazed openings to enjoy the amazing setting of the site which is surrounded on all sides by trees. The living space are expansive fee of columns and walls with each space flowing to the next.pocket doors allow for separation when required and disappear into the walls when not.
The high performance insulation and air tightness was combined the underfloor heating throughout, air source heat pumps, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery and solar panels. The flat roof was covered with sedum throughout to provide rain water attenuation, further thermal comfort and increased biodiversity.
